When the power went out for really long periods of time on before units, those units would drain the battery until it was dead. When the battery goes dead it will no longer revitalize by the book. With a bit of luck that won't happen with this unit.

I've had the UPS for about a month now and I get a small (under 5 minute) power outages every few days. I haven't had a really long outages yet. I use this UPS to battery backup my Monitor, Computer Tower, and Router.

This is like my first APV when I first started computing, it got us by for several minutes; time to shut things down. Now this is the size to power wireless phone base until the power is restored. Without this NO use of phone, even to call power company.

I utilized this ECO350UPS for an office recently, and was pleased with the result. We needed a simple model, preferably with room to send shutdown notifications, and priced within reach of a small non-profit. I judge we got what we were looking for. Plugs are well spaced for transformers, it is simple to mount on the wall, and it does exactly what it says.

This item came very quickly and packaged really nice. I have had several power outages when my breakers blew and I did not lose my computer or internet tie. I could not be more pleased. Best investment ever.
Excellent UPS, very inexpensive

Hook up, start up: Simple.
Interface to computer monitoring software: automatic with WinXP
Gave me about 15 minutes battery-run time, and had more to give when I tested. My system only draws 1.4 amps maximum.
Box is small, room for transformer-on-plug
